Someone sent me 24 recorded tracks to mix. I dragged them into the TO, switched to the SE, selected all, and dragged the first downbeat in the kick drum track to a logical starting point, in this case 5/1/1. When dragging, an info box pops up (example below). It appears to report how many soundbites are being moved. But the number it reports is actually the number displayed on the edit screen. You can verify this by zooming in and out.
I checked what it was doing, and saw all the selected soundbites are moved correctly.
Am I missing something? Why would DP report the number of object being moved that are visible, rather than the number being moved?
Definitely report this one. Sounds like something that got missed in beta testing to me.
DP 11.34. 2020 M1 Mac Mini [9,1] (16 Gig RAM), Mac Pro 3GHz 8 core [6,1] (16 Gig RAM), OS 15.3/11.6.2, Lynx Aurora (n) 8tb, MOTU 8pre-es, MOTU M6, MOTU 828, Apogee Rosetta 800, UAD-2 Satellite, a truckload of outboard gear and plug-ins, and a partridge in a pear tree.
I certainly will if at least one person can repeat it. There are so many things like this now that happen on some setups and not others. Odd that no one else has noticed it if it's real.

OK. I cannot verify that it IS the number of soundbites showing in the window, but...
The number indicated does change depending on how many soundbites are visible - sometimes. I'm not able to see the pattern, but there's definitely something wonky going on.

OK, thanks. I didn't verify the reported soundbite count either. It doesn't really matter if it counts the number visible correctly if that has no bearing on the edit operation.
