The the Sound On Sound review of the Townsend Labs Sphere L22 microphone states that it should work with any DAW as long as the DAW supports stereo-in/mono-out plug-ins.
Do DP 9 & 10 support stereo in/mono out plugins?
Any Sphere L22 and DP users on motunation?
Thanks

Re: Townsend Sphere L22 Microphone
Happy L22 user here ! Insert the Townsend plugin as a usual audio plugin in a track, & it works. If you recorded unprocessed tracks, you can still change every mic parameter at the mixing stage. I use the UAD system, which is very convenient for this.

Yes, I use the AA Microphones PolarDesigner, the Lewitt Polarizer, and the Scheops PolarFlex plugs, all of which do that. I recall having another stereo-to-mono plug at one point.
The various Ambisonic decoder plugs also run in DP, the oddity I've encountered there is that SurroundZone works but must have all possible physical outputs assigned to function, even if you are using it to fold down ambisonic to stereo.
I haven't used a Townsend Sphere, but I do have Sennheiser MKH 800 Twin which I do a lot of dual mid side work with, and I built a dual output Neumann TLM67 out of multiple TLM67 electronics. The Townsend looks like it does the basic thing the other dual output mic plugs do, plus mic modeling.
