1. To create a Composite track, you have to invoke the ‘Show takes’ command. Thus ‘Show takes’ does not just ‘show takes’, but it ALSO creates a new Composite track (Comp 2).
2. In the ‘Takes’ sub-menu of the Sequence Editor window, there is no ‘Delete Comp’ command. To delete a Comp one has to understand that MOTU see a Comp as a take in itself (even though it is not). A Comp is a collage from takes and not a separate take in itself.
...To delete a Comp, select it (e.g. Comp 2) in the Takes sub-menu, and then select ‘Delete take’. The comp (and not the take that it holds) will be deleted.
