I need to add an additional internal harddrive. Is there any tried and true brand?

Seagate .8s are great, and very, very quiet. BTW, their new .9s don't work in the latest G5s without modified settings. Check to se if the .8s are available in ATA (they are in SATA).mbmusic wrote:I need to add an additional internal harddrive. Is there any tried and true brand?

I've had a Maxtor internal go bad, and have a friend who Maxtor external went down... I've had good luck with the Seagate drives, as long as you don't go with the budget one. I've heard excellent things about Hitachi as well.
