How do you create MARKERS?
The command to ADD MARKER is always greyed out, no matter which window I have up. The manual says nothing other than to select it. No can do. What am I missing here? Thx

I never had that. How about resetting DP's preferences just to make sure there is not a specific option you would have inadvertently chosen?

Re: How do you create MARKERS? Solved
Thanks, Super!
Problem solved! it was not in the general prefs, but it's a setting in the View menu. Turns Markers on and off and grays-out the option when turned off. I must have turned it off ages ago in my new template, because I have done a lot of sequences without having them available. Simple.

I add markers on the fly using Opt+M (I believe) Then I will tweak the measure where the marker sits and name it in the markers window.

I still suffer a moment of confusion when I see an Opt key reference. Well that's my excuse anyway...dpg4macman wrote:I add markers on the fly using Opt+M (I believe) Then I will tweak the measure where the marker sits and name it in the markers window.

Re: How do you create MARKERS?
I changed my "Add New Marker" command to just one key... literally the "1"... No option, no control just the "1" to add markers ... I use this ALL THE TIME and it saves tons of headache and is super fast. It's easy to do. IMHO One of DPs greatest features is the fact that you can create custom commands with ease. It's a brilliant feature that I love love love!
