I tried this on a clipping window while having another couple of them open, did not work to close all of them.• Option-clicking a window's close button now closes all similar windows

It don't work at home, under 10.6.8. with this 8.05 version .toodamnhip wrote:James Steele wrote:Dunno. Here I am again. DP 8.05. Resizing an audio track.Phil O wrote:Update on my last post. That's odd, because you see the screen capture? That's taken with 10.6.8 with DP 8.05. So not sure how it's working for ME with the SAME OS and SAME version of DP, but not for you.corbo-billy wrote:It don't work at home, under 10.6.8. with this 8.05 version .
I look at the screencapture from a G5 running under Tiger 10.4. _ I meant resize tracks function that don't work on the Mac Pro running under Snow Léopard !James Steele wrote:That's odd, because you see the screen capture?
Not sure I understand. The screen capture I posted shows resizing the tracks on my computer which IS running DP 8.05 on a MacPro 1,1 with Snow Leopard.corbo-billy wrote:I look at the screencapture from a G5 running under Tiger 10.4. _ I meant resize tracks function that don't work on the Mac Pro running under Snow Léopard !James Steele wrote:That's odd, because you see the screen capture?
So I pointed out that this function does not work for me .James Steele wrote:Not sure I understand. The screen capture I posted shows resizing the tracks on my computer which IS running DP 8.05 on a MacPro 1,1 with Snow Leopard.
Right... I didn't know why you mentioned the G5 running under Tiger, etc? Anyway, it is strange that it won't work for you but it does work for me on similar systems.corbo-billy wrote:So I pointed out that this function does not work for me .James Steele wrote:Not sure I understand. toodamnhip wrote:I use "compare" in iZotope Ozone 5. Have you checked to see if it works there?iFra wrote:Hi..
One only observation... One option is still missing in this version of software.....
The function "COMPARE" when you change the values of the plug-ins does not work with the UAD plug-ins, does not work with plug-ins "DUENDE NATIVE" and does not work with plug-ins "WAVES". Only works with the format MAS.
It would be great to put at the disposal of DP8 this command as it is made available in Logic9 or in Cubase. Being DP a software much nicer and professional, this function should not remain only for the other softwares mentioned...
Sorry for the confusion, James: blame the translator !James Steele wrote:Not sure I understand. The screen capture I posted shows resizing the tracks on my computer which IS running DP 8.05 on a MacPro 1,1 with Snow Leopard.
Just to be clear (in case you missed all my posts) - I later posted that the problem I was having with this, as well as a few other bugs, was cleared up after a re-install. The drag to resize feature is now working as expected and the other bugs are gone.corbo-billy wrote:I look at the screencapture from a G5 running under Tiger 10.4. _ I meant resize tracks function that don't work on the Mac Pro running under Snow Léopard !James Steele wrote:That's odd, because you see the screen capture?
Well, this is weird. I'm using the new J37 among other Waves plug in and everything is working good.toodamnhip wrote:DP 8.05 still appears to have a bug in data entry in the newer waves plugs in the SE window.
Now, the buggy pull downs have been fixed, this is good. But when one tried to manually enter an amount of an edit point in the data window, it does not work. You can;t even click with a mouse and drag the amounts. So, one step forward one step not.
So youre saying that you can go into the SE window, click an automation point, go up to the data window at the top of the SE and ENTER a different value?delcosmos wrote:Well, this is weird. In fact, I already produced 2 full songs with hundred of tracks and plug ins, with many VI's, tons of pitch editing and didn't had a single crash. Even with a session of Ableton Live slaved via rewire in the back.
I'm using a MAC PRO Dual Eight Core Intel Xeon 2.93, 16gb. MAC OS X:10.8.4 with 3 monitors powered by two 'ATi Radeon HD 7970 OC 3GB' cards and PCI 424 running three 2408's.
Wondering what's causing the problems to you and other people. For me this is one of the best DP Updates ever!
