Hello forum,cbergm7210 wrote:Yes, it works fine, as does Amplitube 3 and others that are also 64 bit. I admit I do not know how specifically these 64 bit plugs work in DP, but they do, probably in 32 bit mode somehow. With a 64 bit DAW, you have to run 32 bit plugs in some kind of a bridge, but it seems with a 32 bit DAW, it will run 64 bit plugs.
Perhaps someone more educated than I can explain this.
Would love to do that, but when I launch the standalone, it says it needsKurt Cowling wrote:After trashing AU info cache run RealGuitar as a stand alone app. Close it and then start DP and let it attempt to validate. Worked for me with RealStrat.
That might explain why it's not passing validation, especially if you've run it as a demo and the time is up! Simply contact MusicLab (http://www.musiclab.com/support/contact.htm) and request that they resend you the license key and serial. You don't have to fill out the serial number box on this page; they'll know who you are if you submit the request with the name and e-mail address they have on file. I had to do this a few days ago when I updated RealStrat and RealLPC, because RealLPC's serial wasn't showing up in my "About" window and I had no idea where I'd put it, meaning I couldn't access the update. To my surprise, they wound up sending me all my serials and license files within a few hours.David Polich wrote:Would love to do that, but when I launch the standalone, it says it needs

Really, it shouldn't be this difficult to get a VI to work.
Thanks, everyone for the helpful suggestions. I'll give them all a shot...cbergm7210 wrote:You know, the last thing I did after monkey-ing around with this, is to go into the plugin pref's and force DP to engage the plug even though it said "Failed". Of course, you get the "This may cause DP to crash" warning, but I did it anyway and everything showed up. Trying forcing it, David, and see what happens.
There's definitely some kind of bug in their update.
