Re: All MIDI notes rec and playback doubled [RESOLVED]
Funny thing happened yesterday. I started getting doubled notes again after resolving it a few weeks ago.
Turns out I had to add a MIDI cable to my usb controller keyboard for something, and that was causing the doubled notes.
Don't know if that helps.

actually, i'm dumb. i had the same problem using 2 bus-powered controllers, not realizing that MIDI was transferred through USB. so i killed the MIDI cable and i'm good.

I am/was having this same double recorded MIDI note issue. Before I upgraded to 7.22 I could just use the remove double notes plug and be done. Then that stopped working. I really just wanted to find out what was causing it.
I'm using a Fatar SL-61 controller. I went into audio/MIDI setup and removed the controller. While it was removed I hit a key (accidentally) and it still played. So I tested further and with the controller removed not only did it still play the note it recorded only one note. Not sure if this will work for everyone but thought I'd throw it out there.
