Have sent one unit back (pan not working), now replacement unit
is bad on so many levels.
1. LCD not returning to instrument (stays on pan)
2. "Groups" don't function correctly
3. "Shift Home" does not return to "home"
4. Several faders (on monitor)shake.
I hate to have to return this unless anyone has any suggestions that will
save "it". Next step....just return back to "working in the box"
I am using DP7.01 with a Mac Pro
Thanks
rm/Austin

Re: Having "fits" with Euphonix McMix
It would help if you say what programs you are using it with, which version of the Eucontrol software/firmware, OS etc....
Mine has worked flawlessly for 18 months on several different Macs and OS, in Protools HD and LE, Final Cut Pro, DP, CueMix etc.....
It sometimes needs a little troubleshooting and reinstalling, but I haven't had the problems you mention.
Kind regards
Stephen

Stephen asked what version of firmware, software etc. of the Euphonix unit... NOT your version of Digital Performer.
Slow down and answer the actual questions and someone may be able to help.

Re: Having "fits" with Euphonix McMix
This may be obvious, but make sure that you have the most recent EuControl software AND firmware update for the McMix.
The firmware is updated from a menu inside the Euphonix software.
Firmware updates are not listed separately on the Euphonix website, so you need to manually check for a firmware update every time you update the EuControl software.
EuControl is not yet officially compatible with SL.
Using the current software in SL is iffy for many users.
About a month ago Euphonix said a SL update was imminent, but we're still waiting.
best,
Charles

Re: Having "fits" with Euphonix McMix
Eu software 2.03.63120
Mac Pro 10.4.11
I also get several "jittery" fader movements on my monitor.
This is somewhat un-nerving. The values are minute....but still jumping up and down.
When I have made some "Groups", only one of the 2 faders respond
on the Mc Mix. i.e. say 2 tracks of acoustic guitar is grouped...
only one of the two faders will move both.
Isn't technology amazing....
Thanks!!!
