Can The UltraLite MK3 Be Used As A Standalone Effects Unit?

Hi all:

I'm wondering if the UltraLie mk3 can be used as a standalone effects unit.

I'm trying to test the external insert plug in in SONAR to see if it works correctly using external effects gear.

Does anyone know if I can use this unit in standalone mode just to use the EQ or Reverb as I have my Delta 1010LT as the audiointerface in SONAR?
