DP5 & Rewire with Ableton live

Hello, i need some informations about that. i have tried to connect ableton live in rewire with dp5 but without success. i have read the manual that says to create a project in reason (or live i think;)) with a synth for examples, than save it, than open dp5, create an aux with for inputs the rewire buss of reason (or live) than open reason and load the project.

well.. i can't find the rewire buss..there isn't and live says that cannot run as a slave mode..

there is anyone that use live and dp5 in rewire? for me is essential because i need the simplicity of live and its powerful plug ins, and the simple editing and the delays track .. a lot of things.. and i need the great engine of dp5 because live with a lot of track is really digital sound..

You have to launch DP first, then launch the Re-Wire slave program (in this case Live). From your post it sounds like you already had Live running when you launched DP.

i have do that..

i have used often the rewire.. i know first master than slave.. i think it's a simple thing.. but i can't do that in dp5..

for that i've ask that to someone that use dp5 and live in rewire, because i think there is something different.. some tricks specific for live..

i've also read to instal reason demo to have the rewire engine, i've do that.. nothing changes..

the problem is that i haven't got any rewire buss any rewire option to choose as input in the aux track

I'm not getting any rewire input busses in DP5.12 either. niether reason nor Live outputs make them selves available to DP. Very iritating.

Make sure the There is an aux or an audio track with a valid output fed Reason's main out. Do you see reason output in the bundle/instrument tab?

LIVE works fine as a rewire slave in DP 5.12 for me.

Can anyone confirm to me if is possible to get DP5 on rewire slave mode to Ableton Live 6?

DP can only be a Rewire "Master"

You can only run Live as a rewire slave to DP. It's the same with Logic as well.

DP's Rewire is a bit clunky and should be streamlined.

1) Open DP
2) Create an Aux Track
3) On this tracks input section choose New Stereo Bundle and find Ableton L & R 1& 2 input.
4)Open Ableton Live and your cool.

If you open Live before step # 3 it doesn't work.

but that way I would have DP as the master and I need to send audio from DP to Live...
