Basic question - Send vs. Insert
I need to conserve computing resources - my current project is nearing 100 % CPU capacity. I want to take about 10 inserts that are all using Camelspace and convert them to 1 effect bus with 10 sends. The problem is that some of the tracks are supposed to be 100 % wet so I zeroed the gain on the audio track, but now they aren't sending signal to Aux. Is there a way to send the signal to Aux even though the audio track gain is turned all the way down? thanks. (confused, but trying to learn).

Next to the Send volume knob, see the little M and P buttons? M is for mute, and P is the "Pre/Post Fader Toggle." You want to send pre fader. Then you can drop the track's fader down to -infinity, and the Send will still work.
