That's even more unheard of. I would think that it might have been a floor model/refurb because Apple historically gives very little leeway with their MSRP's.
Then again, Apple has been doing some considerable price restructuring this year. Logic Studio's price aside, places like macconnection, amazon, and other vendors have indeed been offering all sorts of rebates lately.
Strange that Frys.com only shows one model of MacPro (listed under Power Mac!), being the 2.66 Dual at $2499.
Gotta watch for those deals, eh?
