any success with Pluggo/DP512/intel ?

Post by daniel.sneed »

My Pluggo AU Component (UB, v3.6.1) is in /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components folder

My pluggo plugs (free) are in /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST/Pluggo folder

None appear in DP

Any thoughts ?

You probably need to run AudioUnit Scan.app (in your Applications folder) -- unless you did that already(?). It hooks up the Pluggo AU with all your pluggo VSTs. You also need to run it whenever you add new Pluggo VSTs.

Any thoughts of whatever could cause misfunction much appreciated.

daniel,
It sounds as if everything (component/VST'z) is in the right place.
You wrote "My pluggo plugs (free)" , are the free plugins UB compatible ?
Is Pluggo authorized ?
Maybe re-install Pluggo.
Like tremolounge wrote , you must run the "AudioUnit Scan.app" that comes with PLuggo. You'll know if it scanned because a lot of your component icons will have changed to the PLuggo icon.

You could follow this path: Library/Preferences/Digital Performer(tm)
and pull out the "Audio Unit Info Cache" (don't trash it, just in case of ...)
Let DP run and re-recognize your AUs, see if PLuggo shows up.

Thanks dogBoy.
I've been thru all of your routines.
Think I'm on to something.

BTW my Pluggo Component is PluggoRuntime361.
My only puggo-based (synthéV4-Aks-Ems) VI shows up now in DP VI list.
But none of my pluggo fx plugins.

Any thoughts ?
