I nerver thought about this. I would use a clipping for the FX and create a new track in my sequence.

Thanx,
That is what I was thinking to do.
I'm just doing my first mix with DP and I found that nice to organize all Fx in one V-Rack, all Auxes and Master in another. But then I realised that I can't automate the V-Racks. So an elegant way to put the V-Rack in a sequence would have been welcomed.
Cheers

Output the V-racks to Auxes and automate the Auxes. There is no need to automate V-racks. Unless the V-Rack instrument will always be panned and levelled exactly the same, there is no need to adjust it in any way. Just use the Auxes for that.
If you really want to put your V-Rack back in the sequence, you might try just dragging its chunk over to your Tracks Overview Window. If the window highlights, then it will probably work. Since it contains no data, it might not work. If it does work, it will install a set of instruments into your Sequence as copies of those in the V-Rack. I've never tried that, but dragging chunks into your sequence is a viable way of quickly combining things.

Great thinking, Shoosh.
I scratched my head over this one last year and only had a rash to show for it.
