Re: this is my first time - give it to me good
Quite well done - great vocals - I thought this was your attitude at first and then realized you were making a political statement about the powers that be. Right now, until the political system changes to something more honest and accountable, those people who will literally sell their grandmother ...

Re: Midnight Oasis
REmmet - Enjoyed this - very lush and cinematic with no strong element but lots of story to tell - Very DARk (almost scary  ) in places. Seems to be well recorded. Depending on what this is used for will determine the writing. IF this is a standalone piece it would be nice to have something co...

The first time I tried to play the german grand it would not even load. I then set my cpu to HIGHEST in the energy saving prefs in OSX and it finally loaded. If I don't have the highest setting selected in the Sys prefs it will sputter. I have a G5 Dual 2 Gig with 2 gig of Ram and 7200 drives. I use...

M5 and K2
I also have both samplers. K2 certainly is more compatible and comes with a great set of samples. It supports keyswitching as well. M5 also comes with great samples and is easier to use in some ways. However Motu is going on 2 years since it promised to put out version 2. Keyswitching is supposed to...

Syncing sequencer (transport) controls-CME UF Keyboard to DP
Hi! - using DP 5.01 on G5 2G with 2GRam Does anyone know how to sync (via MIDI) the transport buttons on a CME UF88 keyboard controller (play, record, rewind etc)?? This, I am told, is by using the Commands Menu (under the main menu of SETUP) (scroll down to Transport commands-which are about 80% of...

moved on
Ha - I've moved on to Kontakt 2 (Aniversay price of only 300.00) otherwise I'd be starting sit-ins like you people here! and am enjoying keyswitching etc as well as all the fine things about M5.

Altiverb 4 crashes DP 5.1 and 5.11
Anyone have this problem (Altiverb 4 crashes DP 5.1 and 5.11) and what they have done about it. Alterverb runs fine on 5.01 but NOT on DP 5.1 and 5.11?????
Thanks in advance!

Hi! - I'm sorry but Machfive Sampler redefines the meaning of the word 'VapourWare' It would not be so bad if Motu was working on only MachFive and having problems but they have introduced several other products in the meantime. Leading us to believe that M5 has either been shelved or put on the bac...

Check out www.Synful.com. If you like being expressive and easier to play strings etc. Listen to the many demos in their site. I especially like the solo violin. It is not for everyone but you might like them. I have not seen anything that can match them yet for expressiveness using an expression pe...

M5-Protools problem
I don't use pro tools so please keep that in mind. Have you tried creating a separate M5 folder and slowly adding sounds (start with one bank of sounds) to find the culprit. O course you will have to redirect M5 to that folder. I know this could be a tedious task but at least it might tell you that ...
