Yes, I got mine this morning. Have you put yourself on the waiting list yet? If you're no on it then you might as well forget it as apparently each copy takes several weeks to produce and most of Hollywood are waiting in line for this thing. Why MOTU decided to individually hand burn each V2 CD onto hand crafted mother of pearl is beyond me - although I must say it looks stunning, especially delicately crafted mahogony box with intricate relief work on all sides, gold fittings and embroided satin lining and the awsome leather bound gilded manual, hand written using the finest calligraphy techniques with intricate hand painted diagrams and screen shots.
Although I must say I thought the plastic unicorn pendant was tacky.

Huh! I got mine on a mahogany DVD in a Mother of Pearl box. Obviously, you didn't order the deluxe model, which came with a PDF manual for DP on an edible licorice CD-R. The way it works is you eat the disk and you think of the feature. The PDF appears ONLY IN YOUR EYES. It is the latest (and last) method of copy protection they will ever need.Spikey Horse wrote:...Why MOTU decided to individually hand burn each V2 CD onto hand crafted mother of pearl is beyond me - although I must say it looks stunning, especially delicately crafted mahogany box...

I didn't get a pendant, BTW, but a remote that allows me to erase any disk from about 150' with a special setting to freeze the fingers of any performer at 75'. MachFive 3 should see that range increase, but I am not holding my breath waiting for it!

Yeah MOTU are using local craftsmen, so the format (and quality I have to say) of your M5 V2 will depend on the various skilld craftspeople you might have in your area.homebilly wrote:mine is being hand chiseled by master craftsmen along with a custom made iLok to store the authorization on
Great news for keeping these old traditional skills alive (like the ancient art of hand burning of CD's for instance) but it sure slows down production time!
I hear in Alaska it is going to come packaged inside a stuffed bear.

Eh? Not sure if this thread is supposed to be a joke?
Had mine for ages. MOTU sent all registered M5 users an e-mail with a link to upgrade to version 2 in August. You guys obviously didn't get it.
There's also a beta copy of version three available from the site. Looks like a giant version of nanosampler.
I'll try and dig out the link for you. I deleted it thinking no-one would be interested.

They still haven't found it , The code name was ; "weapon of mass destruction"

I've a feeling you meant "weapon of MAS destruction"

Mac 2012 12C Cheese Grater, OSX 10.13.6

Novation, Yamaha & Roland Synths, Guitar & Bass, Kemper Rack
Pretend I've placed your favourite quote here
Actually, they were Audio Units, but they failed validation. They could have been inserted in under 45 bars' time, you know - pretty scary, huh?monkey man wrote:Ha!fokof wrote:Saddam had it , that's why "W" went to Irak , send all his GI's to get it......
