Thanks, Dave.

The movie came from a client - it plays fine in Quicktime and also when opened in DP. I guess I can always record the sound into DP via SoundFlower.

I really should spring for Quicktime Pro - I've used Adobe Premiere but they've dropped their Mac support and it only works in OS9.

Error -2009?

Anyone know what this is? Got it when trying to "Copy movie audio to sequence".

DP 4.6.1, OS 10.4.4, G4 dual 1.25.

You do know they can use Melodyne in DP by calling MelodyneBridge as a plugin, right? Works like a charm.

I was the OP of that thread. As noted in that thread, my problem arose from having components installed in both my root library and user library. Once I removed both and reinstalled, all was well.

DP still doesn't support auditioning .aiff files. I've bitched and moaned about this many times.

Another option if or until Motu implements that is to get AudioFinder - you can audition almost any files in there and then can import them into DP with one click. Excellent program.

I don't think that really answered the question - namely, how do you freeze a V-rack track?

One point no one has mentioned yet is that Lexicon uses chorusing to achieve movement in their reverb tails - something that Altiverb doesn't have. It's part of the Lex signature, and while not very realistic, is a valid and interesting sound. The closest plugins I've heard to Lex are the various TC...

Found the problem - the installer is placing the updated plugin in my root Library/Audio/Plugins/MAS folder, while the original is still in my User/Library/Audio/Plugins/MAS folder. After removing all the MachFive plugins and reinstalling, all is well. Thanks!

Just downloaded 1.2.3 public beta, and still don't see text in the majority of M5 windows. Anyone else?
