Re: What 3 things about DP 8 annoy you the most?

Enjoying DP8 for the most part but there are several things irking me... 1) I really like the new skins but I would like even more options. How about a panel that allows us to customize the way knobs look, the way faders look, control the shade of colors, etc... these are little things I know... 2) ...

My MTP AV is wigging out on me

For some reason, my MTP AV is recognizing my sound mods sometimes and then it wigs out where it does not see anything. What could be the reason for this? This is my second unit. I`m starting to think these units are flawed.

Thanks,
Ernest

Just nitpicking, but I must admit that I cannot understand what people want when they say they can't stand DP's windows. Its just personal taste. Some love it. I don`t. However I must admit, I do not use it to the capacity that you do and therefore I must admit that perhaps this is the reason I don...

OK, I have had some time to mix with the plug. Its useful for certain things but very few. However I did discover that it works quite well on vocals. The plug actually boasts the breathes and the mids, completely ridding the low freqs which could be a cool vocal EQ. The comp sucks on the stereo bus ...

I`ve tried running the plug, no problem. Its pretty cool. The only problem is DP quits on me after I play with the plug for a few minutes to dial in the sound I want.

FREE Plugs are Cool.

FREE Plugs that screw up my G5 are not.

You know I`m not hearing great things about 4.6 stability wise. So I`d like a very stable OS first and foremost. I`m also not crazy about the new window configuration. I turn it off and life is good but its a PITA to be honest. I also like the new EQ so overall I`m happy with DP. The one thing I wou...

Need some atmospheric stuff

I produce lots of Seal sounding tracks. However, I`ve been getting by with about 3 atmospheric sounds which was fine for my first CD. Now I`m looking to expand. So what are you using?

I would prefer to keep everything in the box. No keyboards. I know... blasphemy.

Thanks.

I`ve been using OS X for a little over a year now and love it. However I have still not updated my Wave Plugs. So I go back to OS 9 occassionally. Let me tell you, working in X and then going back to 9 is really a PITA. I will eventually suck it up and upgrade. And another thought, how long are you ...

What are you using to control DP?

So many controllers are on the market ranging from $150 to $3000. I just want to know what everyone is using and why. I am looking to perhaps get one and right now the Mackie Control seems to be leading the group. However, I am open to other units.

Thanks.

Sorry I was not clear...I had to get the 424 card to have the 2408II work with the G5.
