Motu 8Pre Parts

I have an older Motu 8Pre that I need to replace two gain pot's on. They will allow me to adjust the level up, but not down.

I can't find where I can buy Potentiometer, either OEM or comparable ones.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Question..... Why do you post such a rant about the merits of ProTools, on a MOTU forum..?? Save that ••••, while you're blowing each other over at the Digi site.... And, uh...leave the "church" •••• out.....Normally, it's referred to as a "gig".... No need for the "hidden&...

Ok, After playing with it. Now keep in mind, I couldn't find anything about this in the online help or the manual. I'm sure it's there, but I would think it would be easy to find. Using the I-beam tool, Double Click the region and then you can use all the edit commands, inlcuding repeat. Marquee too...

Guys, Opt R does not work for me. When I select a region, it highlights yellow. I can copy and paste but not repeat. I hve to go inside the region, highlight the waveform and then I can repeat. Is there a setting somewhere I can change how this works. I'd like it to be BAM done. Select, quick Comman...

I knew it had to be that easy. I couldn't find this in the manual. I'm sure it's there though.

Thanks,

This is still too cumbersome. In Logic, you just select what you want looped from the bar and bam, it's done. No pushing buttons, keyboard shortcuts, etc. This one flaw is enough to sloe me down considerably and makes me want to skip DP all together. If you came up under this then it is normal to yo...

Selecting Regions / Repeat Command

I am new to DP, got up and running pretty quick and like it so far. The only issue that is driving me crazy and that I can't figure out is this. When I select an audio region, it turns yellow. Now from here I can move, nudge, etc. Great. However, if I want to use the repeat function, it won't work t...

I am bussing two already recorded guitar tracks, sent to a stereo buss. One pan left and the other panned right. I have an Aux track with the input set to Bus 1&2 and out put to my main outputs on my fireface. I put the reverb on the aux track, set mix to 100%. This should be very typical. Even ...

Aux Track Delay

Ok, I want to create an Aux track and assign a Buss to it for Reverb. Create the Aux track, piece of cake. Assign the Buss to it, piece of cake, assign a reverb to it, piece of cake Assign the Ins and Outs, piece of cake. Why does my piece of cake have about a half a second delay to it? Removed the ...

How do you do this. I don't anything about MIDI. I see some of these options, but I don't know how to disable all of them.

Disable MTC, MMC, MIDI Clock, MIDI Metronome, or any other MIDI signals being sent by your DAW.
