You probably loose some CPU REssources having a "middle man" between your computer and DP. I'm talking about Rosetta of course. I would think that 5.11 is more solid than 4.61 anyway... Thanks guys for your inputs. I guess it's best to test it out myself and see if it works for my needs. ...

I'm on a MacPro and yes, 4.6.1 does run under Rosetta ..... Phil Thanks Phil for the notes. Sorry, perhaps a somewhat OT question here, but is there stability issues if Rosetta is involved (for 4.61) ?? If all my plugins were already updated and UB compatible, could i save some bugs and remain with...

can someone with Mac Pro (10.4.8) and DP4.6.1 confirm that?

I've heard and read that DP5 crashes often with the Mac Pro, so wondering if we should stay with 4.6.1?

Thanks!

looking for Pro Tools command focus key bindings too

Hi,

sorry for bringing up an old post.

I'm quite a new DP user, but long time Pro Tools user too. It would be great if I can have the keybindings for Pro Tools in DP (4.6) too.

is there a web page that have such bindings for download?

Thanks & Regards,
[Charles]

able to import AIFF SDII MP3 on the fly?

Hi mates, I'm looking into getting a software sampler that can load AIFF, SD2 or MP3 files easily, plus the ability to set up different keys for different imported audio files. Application is for Sound Design work, so maybe i'll have a key that maps Footsteps, another for Whooshes, and maybe an octa...
