Re: waveform editor time change
R-ing the F-ing manual hasn’t helped much.

waveform editor time change
I have a sequence in 3/4 which I'm trying to get the click to conform to.
When I try to fine tune in the waveform editor it changes to 4/4.
Is there any way I can stop this from happening or change the time signature in the waveform editor.
I'm using the most recent version of DP on a Macbook Pro.

Re: Microphone ID?
Based on the lollypop head and the black band at the top of the body I'd guess the mics are Hybrid Mics. Never used them just saw them in an add. http://hybridmic.adkmic.com/lollipops/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; C...

Re: Micing upright bass
It's a bit fiddly but you can mount a mic between the two feet of the bridge using some strong elastic bands so it's suspended with no padding necessary. I definitely put my Royer R122-V out front as well though.
Next time I record an upright I'll take pictures.

Sorry for my ignorance but what is the "Audio Test" referred to by Kubi?
Thanks

Thank you all my sage friends.
I'll be a-tweakin'.
And because of this new found knowledge my tweaking will be more on purpose.

Resonant shelf?
On the Waves website I was reading about the EQP-1A eq. They said the following: "Renowned for it's unique ability to boost and cut the same frequency simultaneously thereby creating a resonant shelf." Could someone explain to me what a "resonant shelf" is, why I would want it an...

Re: kick mics
Thanks one and all.
I feel sufficiently honed in now to make a decision after a bit of research.
As always I really appreciate everyone's expertise and willingness to share.

kick mics
I record mostly rootsy singer/songwriters.
Lots of acoustic instruments and occasionally drums.
Do any of you fine people have suggestions for a good kick drum mic?
Not too worried about price.
Just want a good mic.
Thanks in advance

Re: Tuner
Thank you Stephen,
I never monitor through effects but I should have figured that out anyway.
As always I'm humbled by the knowledge out there and the willingness to share it on this forum.
Thanks again.

PS: I'll go in and change my info.

Tuner
I'm sure I'm missing something basic and will have to end up putting one of those embarrassed emoticons on my next post but has anybody got the new tuner to work?
I've put it in as an insert and even put it on an aux bus. I can't seem to get it to work for me. It's like no signal's going through it.
