Does anyone know if there's a keyboard short cut to delete something to the right of the cursor? I have an ex windows user who's complaining that she can't delete stuff to the right of the cursor.
Thanks

Re: deleting to the right?
Full-sized Apple keyboards have a forward delete key to the left of the end key.
The leading cause of wrong answers is asking the wrong questions.

Thank you so much for showing me this obvious key.

Yes, and if you DON'T have a full sized keyboard, like on my iBook for example, you can hold down Fn and use the back delete key.donbray wrote:Does anyone know if there's a keyboard short cut to delete something to the right of the cursor? Re: deleting to the right?
This is too funny. I have a friend who insists that PCs are "better" than Macs simply because you cannot delete forward on a Mac.
I told her that isn't true, only on certain keyboards and there are workarounds (not to mention Quickeys) but nevertheless she continues to buy PC after crashing PC just for the damn "forward delete key" like even if that was missing from Macs it would be enough of a reason to suffer thru all those PCs.
