Digital Performer 8.04 Windows and UAD plugins
I am using (trying to use) Digital Performer 8.04 on a Windows 7 machine with UAD2 (ver 7.3) plugins. When DP scans the plug ins, it takes forever. Alot of the plugins fail. I went to the plugin folder / list and tried to remove the folder that the UAD plugs were in. However, the UAD plugins are stil...

Re: DP8 on Windows: MOTU reply
MOTU should not say "Cross Platform" until DP8 is truly cross platform.
I love Performer and know it will be great on PC. I just hate "vaporware".

I'm a total lame loser! If I read the manual correctly, I would have never had the original problem. Seems I kept setting up a second Mackie driver instead of adding the XT to the original Mackie driver. For the record, the HUI needs seperate drivers, not the MCU. Now if I can figure out OMF import!...

Thanks spirit, I have done all the suggestions you wrote and them some. The controller setup seems pretty simple, without a lot of options. I even tried using the Mackies as HUIs. Still the same mirroring problem. I now believe it is something with DP. As a bonus, I discovered my UAD-1 plugins won't...

I've given up on the OMF import at this time, I've wasted too much already. The Unitor 8 shows up in Audio/MIDI setup, but the ports do not show in the list of devices when I set up the control surface. I have to create a device for the MCU and MCU controllers and then connect to the corresponding U...

Logic winss since OMF Import to 5.1 no worky
Man, the list is growing. Between my Mackie Control Extender not working (my MCU is working OK, if by itself), DP 5.1 not seeing my Unitor 8mkII and now not being able to import OMF (of any kind) files, I am extremely disappointed. So far, Logic is kicking DP 5.1's butt..... Any help with any of the...

Can't get Mackie Control Extender to work correctly
Hello, So I am putting DP5.1 through it's paces. So far so good, except, I cannot get the Mackie Control Extender to work properly. I have both my MCU and MCU extender set up correctly in Audio MIDI setup and all assignments are correct in DP5.1. When I try to use both controller, they mirror each o...

Track Editor Window
Hello, Is there a way to zoom vertically in the Track Editor Window? The sequence window has both horizontial & vertical zoom. I have a 30" Apple Display set to the highest resolution. It is difficult to read the info on the Track Window. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Regards, Richard
