FX in consolidated window?
Hey gang, just finally starting to actually use the consolidated windows feature after resisting for a long time. In DP 9 is there any way to pop FX into the consolidated windows area? There doesn't seem to be but I thought I'd make sure.

FX in sidebar?
Can effects be popped into the side bars for the main editor/mixer/etc window? I'm in 7.23.

DP8 on Yosemite-Meters, counter, etc don't move during play
So I just installed DP8 onto Yosemite and I'm getting a problem that's a total show stopper for me. While I'm playing back nothing that normally moves moves. This includes the playback counter, mixer metering, effects control knobs, and the playback wiper. I hadn't run DP8 on 10.9, this is the first...

Re: Alternate keyboard layout/key commands mapping issue
Yeah, I am having to relearn. It's a more efficient layout though. There's less movement, so less tendon and muscle stress from typing, and I'm hoping that once I've improved I'll be at a faster speed as well.

Alternate keyboard layout/key commands mapping issue
Hey All. I've recently swapped my keyboard layout from QWERTY to Colemak and DP7 is having a little bit of an issue with it. When I type any text into text fields like track titles, marker names, etc., things are fine and the new keyboard mapping works fine. However when I go into the custom key com...

Re: Clock speed project sample rate mismatch
So DP's processing does not seem to be working for me. It didn't seem to affect how my files were being played back. Maybe I'm crazy and need to look at this some more but that's sure what it seemed like. In Finder, DP's 44.1 files played back the same as the 48. Soundhack worked. Another little sna...

Thanks. I'll try that and anything else I can think of and see what I get.

Re: Clock speed project sample rate mismatch
Yeah, that's what I was using (I wasn't around the computer to remember the exact syntax) and am experiencing the unexpected results with.

Re: Clock speed project sample rate mismatch
I'm not trying to play back in a 44.1K project, the audio was recorded in one. They're 96K files with 44.1K headers. If I process the soundbites through the Soundbites window, ostensibly changing the file headers to 96K, it's not working right. My files are playing back pitched down and slow (after ...

Clock speed project sample rate mismatch
I've got some audio recorded at 96K in a 44.1K project. My understanding is that I should just be able to convert the audio file in the Soundbites window and tell it to only process the soundbite's file information and not the audio, but this isn't working. I switch the project sample rate to 96 and...

Re: Sequencer doesn't remember window pos.+ one more thing
Hm, I haven't gotten into spaces at all yet. What I assume the feature is based on what it's called makes it seem worth looking into.

Re: Sequencer doesn't remember window pos.+ one more thing
Strange. I can't get it to do that. If I click on the track selector icon in a CW or a single SE window, the track selector becomes part of the window I'm using, not a separate window. I think I wasn't clear here. What I double click is the tab looking part in the Track Selector, this makes it pop ...

Re: Sequencer doesn't remember window pos.+ one more thing
Ok, I just figured the Track Selector thing out. I apparently can't use the icon, I need to use the key command for show/hide side bar to get things to work how I want.
I'll give a more thorough look through the key commands for these other issues I'm having.

Re: Sequencer doesn't remember window pos.+ one more thing
The Sequence Editor is remembering its scroll position here. If it's not there, consider just leaving it open and use keyboard shortcuts to switch to and from it. I assume the other thing you are talking about is the track selector. You might be better off using the track selectors that can be adde...
