A New Timeline For DP 5

How about a timeline like the one in Samplitude. It is much easier to read than that of DP 4 or of many other programs.

And, MOTU, thanks for object-editing and all the other v5 stuff, not to mention the cool stuff that is already in DP.

Even to load X, you will need perfect ram. 9 lets you get away with all sorts of stuff with bad ram. X won't.

Spikey Horse, I fully share your attitude toward pirates. The reference to p598 does indeed talk about red lines. However, the vague illustrations and the unacceptable solutuions (time-strech the audio!!??) offered on that page are not at all the simple solutions offered in responses I got. The fact...

Mr. Steele,

As I said in my first post, no, I could not find it in my manual. Nor have I yet.

People have the option of not replying to questions that they feel is a waste their time, I believe?

Thanks guys, all of you.

"Clear sb tempo" erased the lines. (They were vertical lines, MM)

Question is: how did they get there in the first place?

Re: Neodynium

Also check out the free Inspector. It has a much better meter than the crap ones that MOTU seems to think are good.

How To Avoid Crashes

Perhaps you all have discovered these things, but if not--

I always:

1. Reformat before updating OS or DP.

2. Log off before shutting down.

No, it's not a long list, but a good one, I think.

I hope others will put up their ideas on this.
