the guilty was ..... my CDROM drive, which i never use !!!

maybe that's it or the micro jm36 controller on the motherboard, don't know ....

have updated to windows 8.1 , no changes one strange thing is that i have tried to find a solution at work and i ve connected to that computer using remote desktop and in rdp mode, loading the standalone or the vst is faster ! vst loads in 7 or 8 seconds, and the standalone in 3 minutes the soundcar...

Hi I have just purchased machfive 3 and installed my main computer runs under widows 8 x64, using ableton and studio one the standalone and the the VST versions takes time to show up (5-10 minutes) ; the x64 standalone isn't working at all (the3.2 but the 3.01 works !) after loading,it's working goo...

i ve just received this morning my track 16 and i'm surprised that the whole surface is very hot even if it is unplugged from computer and just powered on with the external power

i think the problem is the saffire because i have the USB 1.1 version, not the version with native USB 2 apparently it makes a difference when working with the USB 1 version (drivers are not the same too) my computer is also a good one (intel i7, SSD, 6 Go RAM)and when i have some crackles, CPU in D...
