Re: 896MK3 CueMix monitoring anomaly
So is it fair to assume this will not work or no fix? There has got to be a solution for this. I am also having the issue when monitor assignment is on the level is quite low and if I turn off the monitor assignment on Main Out is max volume, almost blew speakers :x when i turn this off shouldn't it...

Re: 8pre + 896mk3, daisy chaining, MIDI and more
This is such a great question. Did you ever get an answer to this one. Surely the MOTU support can address this. I actually have the exact gear and want to do the same thing regarding MIDI from the 8pres. I NEED MIDI. I have tried the lightpipe method of syncing and aside from a occasional "gli...

Re: 896mk3 Master & Phones Out Problem
Resolved! You have to go into the mixer tab in CueMix FX and you can setuo your busses there. Make a bus for your Main-Outs and a bus for your phones and then you will have control over each output. Also you can then use the monitor level on the CueMix FX software to control monitor outs level rathe...

Re: 896mk3 & 8Pre & Win 7 Audio Glitches
I still get occasional audio glitches even with this fix. They are much less frequent and relatively shorter but still irritating when they occur.
Any thoughts?

I have my main outs on the back hook up to my studio monitors and I have my headphones hooked up to the front phones output. I have all of my keyboard and drum machine hoo...

Re: 896mk3 & 8Pre & Win 7 Audio Glitches
Hello and thanks for your reply. It may sound silly but I can't seem to find out how to do this. In Device Manager I see IEEE 1394 Bus hist controllers and in there I have Ricoh 1934 OHCI Conpliant Host Controller. When I look at the properties for that entry I have no option to change or switch to ...

Cuemix FX Channel number
Hello, I am new to MOTU hardware and software. I have recently setup my 896mk3 and 8pre. I installed the drivers and have reviwed the cuemix FX video tutorial. Things seem to be ok however my cuemix only show 6 channel strips at a time and I cannot seem to figure out how to expand or maximize the wi...
