Hello again.
I totally new to this gear. I have read the manual and have searched this forum but still have not found answer to my issue.
I am experincing a audio glitch / pop / pause / stutter type noise fairly regularly (maybe every 2 or 3 mins). It happens regardless of the application I am running.
All my drivers are up to date as well as the bios. What could be causing this, how would I beging to track it down and fix. I just did a fresh insstall of Win7 and only have MOTU drivers, Cubase and Wavelab installed. CPU is an i7 with 6gb ram.
Any help is appreciated.

Change the IEEE1394 firewire (not Motu, your physical port) driver to the one already on the system with "Legacy" in its name, using the Device Manager.

Hello and thanks for your reply.
It may sound silly but I can't seem to find out how to do this. In Device Manager I see IEEE 1394 Bus hist controllers and in there I have Ricoh 1934 OHCI Conpliant Host Controller. When I look at the properties for that entry I have no option to change or switch to the Legacy Drivers you mention.
What am I missing...
Thanks,

I still get occasional audio glitches even with this fix. They are much less frequent and relatively shorter but still irritating when they occur.
Any thoughts?
