that makes some sense but it seems a bit odd. i'd think that you'd want to instantiate the plugins that are on disk since that's what gets loaded at startup time. and DP always does a plugin check when it starts up and finds new plugins. i think there's something else in the project that is pointing...

they are working, just not with old projects. i can't bring up an old mix in 64-bit.

well, i'm sad to say that UAD-2 is not working in DP in 64-bit mode with old projects and my current templates that had a UAD instantiated. This will make mixing old projects rather difficult.

64-bit kernal makes sense. i tried to boot into 64-bit mode in the os by holding down the 64 keys but for some reason it didn't work. i decided to go ahead and upgrade to mt. lion. i'm sure this will address the issue.

durring a mixing session, i found that my meters were pulsating the entire time. all of them at the same rate. even on overdubs. it make the meters virtually unusable. all other meters worked correctly - board and interfaces. setup includes DP 8 (probably not the latest update if there is one), a 24...

Does anyone know if it's possible to set up a bus send on a V-Rack? For instance I'd like to route a selection of V-Racks to one reverb. I can't use the individual V-Rack outputs in this situation.

i'm trying to figure out how to apply a setting change to a selection of tracks. say i have 8 audio tracks and each track has 2 takes. i want to select all 8 tracks and change them all from take 1 to take 2. or i want to select all tracks and change the inputs from whatever they are set to, to none....

ah, never mind. i forgot that you can only add aux, instrument and master tracks to a v-rack.
