I'm using a Dual 2.0 GHz G5 with 4 Gb RAM and OS 10.5.8. I can't do much at a 2x64 sample buffer...I get the stop playback warning. Fortunately, I'm accustomed to working at a relaxed 1024 buffer and using the Cue mix or real console for monitoring. All in all it seems stable.

Well I opened a new project and repeated the test and the timing issue was gone. I even repeated the UAD-1 test, then deleted those plug-in instances as I had last night, and then repeated the bus timing test. Timing was fine. I will keep an eye on this because I didn't imagine it.
