Re: Original Traveler Win Xp and compatible DAW
How little is the budget? I tried few applications and many do not show all available channels/options from the MOTU driver. The only app so far that shows all channels is Adobe Audition. You can get the demo to try it out. By the way Audacity does NOT record 24-bit data either. It might appear that...

New Drivers : 06/08/2010 : Installer 100802 Vn: 4.0.4254 As per usual no indication from MOTU what issues this release addresses. So if you have installed these drivers please report back your impressions. Do they fix any problems you know about. Did the install proceed as a expected. What new bugs...

It looks like new drivers are available now. Just tried it out - the CueMix does not crash anymore. Still need to check the rest.

Re: CueMix Fx.exe application failed to start. XP pro
Guess what? I installed SP3 on different system just to test it out and CueMix does not start either. So, it is not SP2 issue. The MOTU latest drivers are just plain broken.

Re: CueMix Fx.exe application failed to start. XP pro
I might try it later. However I doubt they will help me since I am not an original owner and product registration requires to show where it was purchased from.1nput0utput wrote:Have you tried getting in touch with MOTU tech support? This seems like something they would know how to fix.

Re: CueMix Fx.exe application failed to start. XP pro
The download message at motu's site says minimum requirements are XP SP3, so maybe that's your problem. I bit the bullet and updated my XP to SP3 and it seems to work fine. Of course, I'm using Mk3 but I'd give it a try anyway. From my experience each time I updated to new SP it would slow the comp...

Is it possible to just update the drivers and keep the old CueMix?

Re: CueMix Fx.exe application failed to start. XP pro
Same issue here. Got Traveler with no original disk. Downloaded latest driver/software from MOTU. Everything installed fine. Audio console opens fine, talks to the Traveler OK. CueMix does not open and gives me same error about configuration being wrong and suggestion to reinstall it. It appears tha...
