Removing MSI registration from my user acct
Hi all:
I sold my copy of MSI, and successfully transferred the iLok license to the new end user.
Now I would like to remove the MSI registration number from my user act so that the new user can register it.
Can't seem to find the info anywhere. Can someone help?
Thanks!

Can't get signal ADAT input MOTU 828MK3 (FW only)
Hi: I'm trying to use the ADAT outputs on my Presonus AudioBox 1818VSL as an expansion to my MOTU 828MK3. Can't seem to get signal in CueMix. Using the Presonus ADAT as clock master. Both devices are set to same bit depth etc. ADAT is set in MOTU audio setup Optical A. Is there a setting I need to c...

Re: DP 7.24 with Demo of DP 8
Quick question...If I install the DP 8.02 Demo in my computer, will 7.24 still work as always (very well i might add) if I decide not to upgrade.?..Thanks My 7.24 still works as well as it did. i did notice however, that when i opened a new project in 7.24, it saved it as an 8.02 file. Not an issue...

Re: Apogee USB MIC on stand
Hi:
I have a Blue Snowball USB mic and had a similar issue. Try adding it as an input device in Mac's system preferences. it should show up in hardware config after that
Good luck!

Re: Annoying dialog box : NO MOTU AUDIO DEVICE COULD BE FOUN
Hi, Everytime I'm with my laptop, OUT of the studio (i.e. my MOTU 828MK2 is NOT connected), I get this annoying dialog box EVERY TIME I run an audio software... This is very annoying. Do you have an idea of how to get rid of this dialog box? https://dl.dropbox.com/u/83031018/motuasio.png Thanks I k...

Re: Harrison Mix Bus for $40 (Audio MIDI no-brainer deal)
I too was lured in by the almost impossibly good deal on this. But then I realized, I really don't need another DAW learning curve. Rather spend the time perfecting what I already have. Between DP7 (very soon 8) and Logic 9, I think I pretty much have it all covered. Nice deal for those that take ad...

Re: Pete Townshend and DP
That's fantastic, Magic Dave! I had the pleasure of seeing that show in Brooklyn last Wednesday. I thought Townshend was amazing. Loved the tributes to Entwistle and Keith Moon. Daltrey was good but I think he had an off night. Quadrophenia has always been one of my favorite Who albums. Actually one...

Re: Best plug to add 'hair' to a track
Phil: +1 on the Devil-Loc. As MLC said, it's 32-bit. I didn't see in your specs what ver DP you're running. I also like Kramer Master Tape. I push it a little to get some "hair". Also McDSP's FutzBox can do some interesting things, from subtle to extreme. Also look into the Antares Avox EV...

Re: DP8 Disaster
My first DP7 upgrade disc was bad. I contacted MOTU and they sent one out right away. Your results may vary, but I had my disc the second day. (I live in NY, very close to MOTU HQ in Mass.)
Good Luck!!!!

Re: Wave Form Editor, a simple explanation
I'm not sure it's a matter of 'faith", as you mention, because many DAW's have always had this option. Back in my Windows days Sonar allowed you to open a track in a third party editor. I'm sure there are others as well. Might have been as simple as keeping the costs down. When I switched to M...
