Actually my mistake -
it works exactly the same, except the faders change when you release the wiper in standdby mode. great stuff. I'm having a blast with it!
thanks again John!

Re: Automation Fader Question....
Thanks jlaudon! that seems to do the trick - although I guess it still works differently than either Logic or PT in that if I move the wiper still nothing happens and also if I change the fader in standby mode they don't snap back as i would expect. Wonder if there is a setting for that as well??? -...

Automation Fader Question....
Hi, I've been using DP for a while now (mainly in basic live situations), and I've recently started reading up on automation (!). I've been using Logic in this capacity but not DP. My very first observation was that when I rolled the playhead forward or backward the automation didn't move. This woul...

Re: Creating a Transpose button in the CONSOLE...
Seems to be doing the trick, lots of flexibility too. Could be spending some hours with this one

Awesome jkramlofsky!
It looks on the surface that this may work. I'll check it out and report my findings!

Re: Creating a Transpose button in the CONSOLE...
Hi Shooshie, Thanks for the detailed response. I suspected that this was the case. I actually have an environment in Logic that will do this, but I always have (and I suspect) always will prefer the make sense set up of DP over Logic. just a personal thing, but I always come back to DP to see if i c...

Re: Creating a Transpose button in the CONSOLE...
Hey Shooshie,
I have been trying that but can't see how I would assign it to a MIDI CC#, let alone be able
to flick through various transpositions (ie fader or -+ buttons)
I'm not the most savvy of MIDI guys so perhaps I'm missing something?
thanks, M

Creating a Transpose button in the CONSOLE...
Hello, I've been trying to create a global (or even just per instrument) transpose slider or - + button in the Console. The manual has allowed me to get the basics of the console window and control certain plug-in automations in real-time but i really want to create some sort of controller via eithe...

Re: Weird technical issue in Live playback with EW PLAY
Fo anyone out there that finds this of interest, I spent the evening uninstalling PLAY (there is an uninstaller on the website) and installed the original EW PLAY 1.2.5. Guess what - it solves my issue! Go figure. DP 7.12 still seems very stable with my PLAY 1.2.5 after coming backward from the newe...

Weird technical issue in Live playback with EW PLAY
Hello, I am a fairly new DP user and (bizarrely) coming from Logic. Seems it's normally the other way around! Anyway, I do a lot of live performance on v-drums and recently got EW PLAY Stormdrum2. This seems a bit of a weird issue but when i play faster notes in DP for example on a snare drum, i get...
