Well if you are getting BSODs then I definitely think it's something with your system and not the Ultralite.

Sounds like you're doing all the right things. Maybe you should call MOTU's tech support.

Hmm, did you install the driver before plugging the Ultralite in?

Go to your Playback Devices. Is the Ultralite on the list at all?

I don't think the driver is supposed to show up in the Control Panel, at least my Traveler MK3 doesn't show up in my Control Panel.

Thanks for the reply, I guess that confirmed my suspicion. At least I know it's normal, I just wish if they put all this info in the manual.
I'm ditching SPDIF now and using only analog, because I have to use the Traveler at 96Khz.
