Clear your Users cache. /Users/[username]/Library/Preferences/com.motu.MotuAudioSystem/ Find any cache files in that folder and delete them. Relaunch DP. All installed plug-ins will be rescanned and only the cache files you need will be rebuilt. This will take awhile but it will happen only once. W...

Nevertheless, I am having unprecedented instability. I'm going to start taking bits out of the signal path one at a time and see if things improve.

Couldn't readily convert from QT but I tried it with an MP4 file and it's fine, notwithstanding the fact that the MP4 file is at 44.1 and I'm at 48k

Pretty surprised that it's not working with a .MOV file however. The .MOV file is at 48k.

Looks as though it's Kaspersky Internet Security -- it didn't cause problems in the past but turning it off fixed everything.

Hopefully I can figure out settings that will allow it to be on.
