Coming full circle, I'm really pleased that I sprung for the $99 MX4. There's plenty of warmish sounds to be found and I might actually tinker with it in time.

So now my response to others who might have the same question is, upgrading to DP 7 with MX4 is a really good deal.

I just ordered the DP 7 upgrade with MX4.

It should be here early next week as I'm just south of Boston.
