A Phillips 2 screwdriver to remove the top cover. Your fingers for most of the connectors. Some are more easily done with long nosed pliers or a flat blade screwdriver to begin separation. Open it up and burnish all the connectors as I suggested earlier. Disconnect the ribbon connectors, any others, remove the ICs from their sockets and put them back in. Do this one piece at a time. Don't worry mate. 'Cause you're on a Mac, MOTU's latest drivers will almost certainly do the trick. They're typically rock-solid (on the Mac at least), and as Mike suggested, the company keeps pace with OS developments very well indeed. Hmm doesn't seem to be that simple for me.. thanks alot for your help ariisuu u have helped fixed the main problem. Yes the buffer doesnt like been changed in the host, i have to close it to make any changes which is a pain when i have a session. Otherwise not to bad. I do have the latest drivers though.

So I just fixed 828mk2 usb dropped audio, but...
Thank to Arisuu, i disabled my wlan card in device manager and there seems to be no dropped audio. YES!!!. But it still does not like to be buffered up or down within the host. Has anybody found a fix or know why this is yet? Thank you..

okso this seems to have fixed the dropped audio but it still does not like being buffered up or down, it completely crashes my host, this only happens within the host.

hi thanks for your reply, does this mean i have to take everything else out of all th usb connections? because my sessions are on an external drive or is there a way to set it in device manager that its on its own?
