Yosemite and 828 mk2 help please?

Hey guys,

I digged out an old 828mk2 firewire that im selling with some other old stuff and I am trying to test it before selling it on to make sure its all good.

I download latest installer from the site and its not seeing the 828. Is there a certain way to install? I am on 10.10.3

Also the Motu turns on and the screen says MOTU 828MK2. And nothing else buttons do nothing is that normal? I can remember if the buttons do nothing while not connected to the software or not. Any help or guidance greatly appreciated! Thanks
