I'm in the same boat as well, seems to happen very randomly. Sometimes it works great, sometimes I have to turn off and on the 2408MK3 and then reload my configuration. Any help or suggestions on this would be great.

I just purchased a 2.3 last month. This machine screams... I know everyone is all "Intel! Intel!" but if you want a machine with that's ready to go(no software compatibilty issues) and powerful as all hell, the G5 is the way to go. I was on the fence about the Intel thing for a lil while, ...

MOD! DO IT! NOW!

Seriously, I just got my 2408 MKIII back today and it is an unbelievable difference, espicially in the low end and midrange separation. Reverb tails, delays are much easier to hear in a mix. I usually don't blindly spend $$$, but this is one of those cases where it was completely worth it, if not ne...

New Macbook power comparison to G4

Hey all, I've been considering upgrading from my G4 DP 1.25ghz, fully blown, to a new G5 Quad. Portability is something I've always wanted, but the now "last" gen PB's weren't as powerful as my G4 DP, which I push to edge of the cliff on nearly every session I do(high track counts, VI's, e...

To neomatt's defense, i can understand why he may have had trouble finding that command in the manual. In many other DAW programs, the "splice edit", if you will, is not referred to as "snip", as DP does. I only say this from my own personal experience a while back when i had the...

No need for an aux track IF you're just trying to audition FX; Just instantiate the plug you want to audition on the audio track's insert. Then refer to pgs 683-684 in DP 4.5 regarding input monitoring. These pages explain exactly what you are trying to do.

You should be up and running in no time.

All I can say is that there seems to be some incompatibility with 4.6. Your issue is exactly like mine with et1(works in previous versions) and i can't seem to find a solution anywhere. I don't believe it has to do with tiger.

+1 person looking for an answer! :)

All of my sessions have loaded so far with no problem! No I'm just going through the task of creating v-racks for all them. What a great new feature!

Re: Has anyone gotten multiple outs to work with Stylus RMX

Yep!!!! It's quite simple....Just select your stylus output as an input on an audio or aux track, then use stylus' mixer page to route your channels. Stylus uses letters to name their outputs, but A=1+2, B=3+4 and so forth. Enjoy!

Re: I have a date with DAE !

Why not install a system exactly how you want it on a FW drive (inculding PT TDM because you will need DAE) and boot their system off of your drive. I've seen this done and it works pretty well.
