Re: Click defaults only follows conductor track?
Yes, I found the same problem today. http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=58365 I believe the manual here is slightly confusing. You can define click patterns in Preferences but they are not applied automatically by default, but rather "...Digital Performer will automatically...

Re: Click Defaults not working in DP 7.24
Hey, I faced the same issue today in DP8. Looks like Click Defaults Pattern is only working when you have meter change information in Conductor track. So insert 4/4 change at 1|1|000 and give it a try. You can also define click patterns right on the conductor track (see screenshot), which is nice. h...

Re: DP Plug-in guide?
Funny, I was wondering the same thing when I first read the manual. DP Plug-ins guide is on Help menu in DP itself.

Re: Anyone knows how to LOCK many files in the Finder at onc
There is also an elegant Terminal-based solution, as usual: http://mac101.net/content/tips-tricks/p ... s-at-once/
It works for subdirectories as well.
Code: Select all
chflags -R uchg *
It works for subdirectories as well.

Multiple modulation sources bug workaround
I found a workaround for annoying multiple modulation sources bug in 2.02. It's ugly but functional: 1. Locate preset file. 2. Open it in text editor. The file itself is in XML format and it is human readable. 3. Find the desired section, in my case this one for LP filter. The filter has one modulat...

Re: reverted back to v2.01
Yes, that works. I think I'll keep a copy of v2.01 to run as standalone when I need the modulation editing capabilities, and then use v2.02 for the plug in version. Thanks for the idea. Did you manage to install both versions to the same system? As soon as I install 2.0.2 (even to separate folder) ...

Re: control surface?
Alesis doubles as audio interface and even as standalone mixer. Not sure about build quality and price, but it's much more effective solution, imo.

Re: reverted back to v2.01
Btw, is it possible to create a patch with desired filter modulation in 2.01 and then open in it in 2.02?

Re: Control surface recommendations
I have FaderPort and I couldn't really recommend it. FaderPort is not really a control surface. I've yet to try it with DP, however I've used it with Logic a lot. The only valuable part of it is the fader itself, but it's only one and i'm not sure how it's different from riding faders by mouse. The ...

Привет and welcome to the world of DP! Where in Russia are you? I love russian music, stuff like Ленинград and Бригада С... Cheers and Запой! ;-) Lol, thanks, but I try not to drink in the middle of the week. I reside in Moscow. As for these guys, they probably did a good stuff earlier, not sure wh...

Re: Buying DP now. Need advice.
I am. I placed order last Friday for both DP and MachFive and also MX4. Quite a lot of money for third-world country where I'm from, I might say. And pretty risky investment too (no 64 bit, 3 years old updates and so on).Frodo wrote:So, you're *not* buying DP now?
Say welcome to new DP user, anyway.

Buying DP now. Need advice.
After long research and tries I've decided to use DP as my main DAW. I have a couple of questions, though. First, I would like to order it as soon as possible, but I'm not sure if it safe to do so at the moment. Basically, I have an access to DP at friend's studio, so it's not a problem to wait coup...
