True. Can be a PITA, but with the new authorization scheme being via the internet hopefully that will be less painful and frankly, how often does one re-create their boot disk? Hopefully not too... but when you need it, you need it and it always seems to be the worst of times when the authorization...

bootable backups yes- but reauthorization for DP - which means hunting for the disk and book for serials!! i made the mistake of doing this shortly after a move when 85% of my life was boxed up ;(
