ebay for the memory...get the same stuff as you just mentioned above regarding external drives....get a usb one as it wont be messing up your firewire bus (tho i've heard that the powermacs have two or three spearate fw busses so, i probably wouldn't worry.....ebay as well.....7200rpm should be fine...

I'm pretty sure that the pcie can now be bought separately from motu...just talk to them.

will be selling my hd192 and pcie in another month or so if your interested. will be sory to see it go, but i have to go mobile for a bit :(

hi there....i'm using logic 7.2 but the options still apply...in logic, you will find a "preferences" page in one of the menus..go to "general" or it could be under "audio"....check "software monitoring" is turned on....give that a try...if this doesn't work p...

88.2/96 is quite noticeably better than 44.1....and i would challenge all the naysayers to try this.......... put a steep low pass filter at 18kHZ on a sound source (recorded and mixed and playing back at 96/192)...notice the difference?!? this is exactly what happens when a sound source is reproduc...
