In my experience the problems increase with the size of the project. We are doing some music but mostly post-production work and the projects are around an hour long at around 40-50 tracks. Wonder if the "dither" setting should be on or off when dumping a 16 bit project to 16 bit Da88 8 track. Remember that internal processing is 32 bit.. so it's got to dither somewhere ... I don't totally understand that "dither" menu item in DP.. no setting for bit depth.. does it...

i agree about the lavs... it will be a better result. Guaranteed proximity. Consistent mic position. No worries about booming.
