Re: Slate Digital VCC Available Now w/ Free iLOK2 This Week

These issues are exactly the same as the beta issues that I and I'm sure most other users of VCC in DP have reported to the Slate support team month's ago.
I'm hesitant to install this release if virtually none of the problems with VCC have been addressed.

Re: 7.22 sluggish performance issues

From apples support site Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard includes a 64-bit kernel. On hardware that supports the 64-bit kernel, you can choose whether to start up (boot) your Mac using the new 64-bit kernel or the earlier 32-bit kernel. Products Affected Mac OS X Server 10.6, Mac OS X 10.6, Mac Pro (Mid...

Re: Migrating from G5 to new Mac Pro

Hi David I just went thru the same process myself going from a G5 to a new Mac Pro Quad core. I thought of migration assistant for a while but decided I'd rather bite the bullet and and get fresh installers for all my apps and plugs rather than potentially having old PPC code from my G5 mucking up t...

Re: Slate FG-X 1.1.2 update available, working on PPC/Tiger

Hi David
No I didn't delete my AU info cache. I've resigned myself to the fact it won't run in DP with my current configuration. I'm just happy I can open it in Peak and accomplish what I need to do in there.

Re: Slate FG-X 1.1.2 update available, working on PPC/Tiger

I downloaded the latest update as well and DP is still not seeing the AU version (nor is Peak) I can however load the VST version in Peak. (Boy what a processor hog) So it looks like even if DP did recognize the AU, I wouldn't be able to run a full mix with it anyway. My system is a G5 PPC x2 runnin...

Re: WARNING! Steven Slate Drums and Kontakt 4.0/4.1 problems

FG-X is intel only right now. Slate has said that they are working on a power PC version
but it won't be out for another week or so.

Re: DSM - Dynamic Spectrum Mapper- anyone using this?

I Beta tested the AU version of this plug in DP 5 & 6 for Paul Frindel. It's an incredible plug that sounds great on individual tracks as well as the mix bus. I would suggest you download the 21 day free trial and give it a go. It takes a little while to get your head around how it works but the...

Re: Native Power Pak and DP 5.1.1

I'm running Native Power Pack version 5 (with the latest enabler) with no problems OS 10.4.11 DP5.11 G5 2x2 4g ram as well as Rennaisance Max, SSL & L316. I understand that version 6 runs quite well under the same configuration. Waves has a new promo that if you renew your WUP 100% of the value ...

Re: Bring on 6.02

Hi James
Sorry for venting in the wrong forum.
Just an update. I removed the version 6 Mas AU support component and replaced it with The version 5 component and all is well. I can now load version 5 projects in 6.01.

But I still want 6.02

Bring on 6.02

6.0 was flaky but at least allowed me to muck around in it and open version 5 files. 6.01 crash and burn everytime I try to open an existing file. I can however create a new file and proceed from there. Based on other threads I believe this probably has to do with various plugins (Soundtoys, Sonnex ...
