6.0 was flaky but at least allowed me to muck around in it and open version 5 files.
6.01 crash and burn everytime I try to open an existing file. I can however create a new file and proceed from there.
Based on other threads I believe this probably has to do with various plugins (Soundtoys, Sonnex etc...) and their new Au protocol. Launching DP 5.11 I am now getting distortion on playback.
I'm not really looking for any solutions right now as I'm tracking at another location with dp5 on an old G4 thru a metric Halo 2882 and that works fine. I'm just venting and hoping Motu will sort out all these stability issues soon.
Thats all

Re: Bring on 6.02
Hi James
Sorry for venting in the wrong forum.
Just an update. I removed the version 6 Mas AU support component and replaced it with The version 5 component and all is well. I can now load version 5 projects in 6.01.
But I still want 6.02
