Re: ? about M5 3 content: Same as v2 plus new?
I found a lot of the overlap in MachFive3's library and the other UVI soundbanks I already owned. I had bought Plugsound pro, Synthology, and Xtreme FX bundled in the Producer Pack a couple years ago. Biosphere and Synthology seem very similar. And the MachFive3 loops and sounds seems very similar t...

Re: M5-3... uh oh...
more of the patches in MSI have potential than I originally thought, but I'd definitely need M5 v3 to tweak 'em at the sample level to get them to the point that I could actually use 'em. And 'hugy' is right, the MSI bundle file has to be installed in the application support folder, and surprisingl...

Re: MachFive 3 unable to mount MachFive 2 ufs soundbanks
Here's how I fixed this: I went into the Places list where the .ufs files appeared grayed out. I control-clicked the gray file names and selected "Remove from Favorite Places" I was able to then mount the disk images (except for MSI.dat) I have the MSI bundle installed correctly and it wor...

Re: MachFive 3 unable to mount MachFive 2 ufs soundbanks
I'm getting the same results using standalone mode. There are two ways to navigate to the .ufs files: 1. clicking on an empty part, the window opens with the Search, Devices, and Places. Strangely the .ufs files are listed under Places but each one is grayed out. 2. From the browser on the left, I n...

MachFive 3 unable to mount MachFive 2 ufs soundbanks
I've been trying to get MachFive 3 to recognize the other ufs and dat files I have from Ethno, MSI, BPM, UVI and MachFive 2. When I find the disk image in the browser of MachFive and double click it says " unable to mount (soundbank name)" (invalid file). Any suggestions?

more specific
I noticed this problem with WAV files in looplab, and the .ufs files of Ethno and MachFive libraries.

Loop Lab & Mapping
I noticed a problem getting a drum loop to map to a MIDI keyboard with just 2 sections. I loaded the sample, clicked the map key, opened the editor, and set my slice markers to be at sample start and half-way through (just 2 slices). Then unselected and selected Map mode in the editor (seems the onl...

MIDI playback in DP 5.1 on Intel causing crash
I can't play back MIDI data on DP5.1 without crashing the computer. When the MIDI channel is not assigned to an output, no crash happens. I've tried all combinations of MIDI patch thru modes. This does not happen when I'm sequencing or playing back MIDI in Ableton's Live program. I've also trashed t...
