Loop Lab & Mapping

Post by mdub »

I noticed a problem getting a drum loop to map to a MIDI keyboard with just 2 sections.

I loaded the sample, clicked the map key, opened the editor, and set my slice markers to be at sample start and half-way through (just 2 slices). Then unselected and selected Map mode in the editor (seems the only way it will recognize new slice handles/markers) I noticed the slices did not play in entirety (didn't play up to the next slice or sample end).

They just stopped after about 1 sec.

This is not good for playing longer slices. Is there something I'm missing?

Decay and Sustain settings didn't seem to make a difference

I noticed this problem with WAV files in looplab, and the .ufs files of Ethno and MachFive libraries.
