MIDI playback in DP 5.1 on Intel causing crash

MIDI playback in DP 5.1 on Intel causing crash

I can't play back MIDI data on DP5.1 without crashing the computer. When the MIDI channel is not assigned to an output, no crash happens.

I've tried all combinations of MIDI patch thru modes. This does not happen when I'm sequencing or playing back MIDI in Ableton's Live program.

I've also trashed the LAME component and framework, knowing that can be a problem.

Any advice/tips?

I figured it out. My USB hub that my fastlane was plugged into, didn't like getting MIDI data sent from the computer to the keyboard. It worked on my old powerbook, but not the the MacBook Pro.
