I don't know about Vista or 64 bit, but I'm using one of these with XP and it works jsut fine. I had an Express, but needed more ins and outs so I bought the XT off of Craigslist ($65.00, delivered via USPS) And yeah, stand alone is fine if you're a live player like I am. Just program the presets wi...

Actually, I had the Micro, and I just went out and bought an XT because I needed additional ports. Again, set up was a breeze. Maybe because i've done it 20 times now !!!! Anyway, from a fresh install of XP, here's what I did. 1. Set the LPT1 to EPP (Actually, I used Bi-Directional) 2. Use device ma...

There's gotta be musicians here at UN !. I saw DT mentioned (and , of course debated about) several times. They're known as a musicians band...and BTW, I'm a fanboy of theirs. Up to ToT at least. Anyway, I just finished spinning Porcupine Trees latest, "Fear of a Blank Planet" Absolutely m...

OK, I'm talking to myself now....but. I'm watching the Micro Express change presets as I choose them from the console. So, I'm not sure the sequence of events I went through, but they're something lijke: 1. Set the LPT1 to EPP (Actually, I used Bi-Directional) 2. Use device manager and make sure LPT...

OK, download the 32 bit console from their website. I'm at work so I can't control any hardware (the Express is under my desk ;) ) BUT.....Clockworks now shows 4 in ports, 6 out ports (as well as the Factory Presets !) and Sonar 6.0 home studio also shows all the available in and out ports. I think ...

OK, now I'm at the same point you are. XP saw it, and asked me to install the drivers. But all I get is PC Flyer A & B. Note to anyone that didn't get a cable with their used unit. I bought a null modem cable thinking that was what I needed. It's not, these things are straight through pin to pin...

Install ?

Hi Mokadi ! I'm guessing you got a "deal" on an older parallel model like I did. Have you tried the steps listed here ? http://www.sweetwater.com/expert-center/techtips/d--04/28/2003 This is all MoTU has to say http://www.motu.com/techsupport/technotes/document.2004-06-18.2083364902/view?s...

I have been able to get it working via parallel cable on 2 different laptops, and have been able to work with multiple MIDI controllers without any issues. Would you mind sharing how you did it ? Also, reepeating the OPs question, does anyone have documentation ? I'm not going to use mine for any D...
